Panis is a series stems from a trip to Iceland by Gustav Willeit. He was fully attracted to its unspoiled nature through vast glaciers and clear blue sky, snow covered volcanos and wild grass land. Gustav Willeit thought he needs to show the natural and simply beauty of selected spots in panorama. Using sharp contrast and parallel lines to capture a fuller impression of the overwhelming Icelandic landscape.

ARTIST
Gustav Willeit was born in Brunico Italy, and grew up in Corvara in Alta Badia. Coming from the mountainous regions of northeast Italy, Gustav Willet has always been fascinated by vertiginous landscapes. While taking alpine panoramas, he nonetheless felt the urge to explore other locations in search of unusual scenes. The power of his photos is expressed through their seemingly inaccessible vantage points, the intensity of contrasts and chromatic nuances. From 2000 to 2004, he studied at the prestigious photography school F+F for Art and Design in Zurich. Gustav launched his photographer career as a freelancer in 2006. He has since participated in many solo and collective exhibitions in Europe.
