Gao Shang

Limited

Gao Shang sees the ballet backstage as an imaginary space. By capturing the body language of ballet dancers off stage, his documentary photographs are reminiscent of scenes from a psychological pantomime, full of his own emotions and subconscious and at the same time stimulating the imagination of the audience.
